Hi! I've been an illustrator for all of my long life. I was the illustrator for the Vancouver School Board for seventeen years and even though I am a grandmother now, I still I love to make art and I sometimes I get carried away into the creative process by exploring new ways of drawing and painting.
I would love to see you try my easy art projects on Skillshare. For a free month of Skillshare which comes with access to hundreds of classes you can find my special link here. SKILLSHARE CLASSES
During COVID in 2020 - 2021, I made a lot of ART CLASS VIDEOS for the children attending a wonderful elementary school in Vancouver called Ecole Jules Quesnel whcih was made possible because of the amazing principal, the school's PAC and Art Starts Grant. We created art, on a theme of our local Camosun Bog, local wild life and landscapes. We also imagined bears that may have lived there long ago. The blog is called Pastels and Butterflies .
I have a little dog named Maggie and I continue to be inspired by our daily walks through my Vancouver neighbourhood along sidewalks lined with Maple trees that change with the seasons. These days, I am making new class projects, and writing a memoir and children's picture book manuscripts. I need to send them out soon, if and when I get up the courage. I belong to The Creative Academy For Writers.
